UniSA Study Grant

Duration:      Up to 4 years.

Value:          $2,000

Payment:     Recipients will receive two (2) installments in April and September for the duration of their studies, up to a maximum of four (4) years.

 

 

Citizenship/Residency:

Open to:

  • Australian citizens
  • Permanent Residents
  • Holders of permanent humanitarian visa

 

Level of Study:

Open to all undergraduate students enrolled in a Commonwealth-supported Place.

 

Attendance:

Full time or part-time student.

 

Type of Course:     

Must be enrolled in a Commonwealth-supported place.

 

Financial hardship:

Must demonstrate financial hardship.

 

Other disadvantages:

While low socio-economic status is the primary criterion for UniSA Study Grants, applications will be weighted according to other equity indicators,

including:

1.    Regional/Remote disadvantage

2.    Non-English Speaking Background (NESB)

3.    Disability

4.    Indigenous Australian

 

Previous Qualification:

You must not have already completed the requirements of a program of study equivalent to an Australian bachelor's or higher level award.

 

Receiving other scholarships:

 

You are not eligible if you are in receipt of a Commonwealth Scholarship, including Start Up Scholarship and Relocation Scholarship paid by Centrelink, or any other UniSA-related scholarship or grant of the same or higher value to the UniSA Study or Priority Grants.
