To prepare for the test you should read the Candidate Information Booklet carefully, especially the test centre procedures on page 6.

Do you need assistance to sit the STAT due to a disability?

If you require assistance to sit the STAT because of a disability or medical condition you should follow the instructions under ‘Assistance to sit the STAT’ on the application form. The STAT Coordinator will contact you to determine your needs. You will be required to provide independent documentation, normally from a health professional, describing the exact conditions you require in order to sit the test.

SATAC will make every effort to accommodate your needs, but it cannot do so unless advised. Note that applicants requiring special conditions are not normally accommodated in the organised sittings listed above. Special sittings will be held at the SATAC Office in mid-December for applicants in the Adelaide metropolitan area and surrounds. Sitting dates, times and locations will be negotiated for SA country or NT applicants.
