Each year SATAC produces a range of publications about tertiary study to help applicants make choices for further education.

The 2018 SATAC Guide to undergraduate courses provides information for applicants on selection rules, SATAC processes and includes detailed information on undergraduate courses offered through SATAC. It also provides useful information about our participating institutions and general information on financial assistance for students.

Year 12 students in South Australia and the Northern Territory receive a copy of the SATAC Guide through their school. You can purchase a copy of the Guide for $12 from newsagents throughout Australia.

We also produce Tertiary Entrance booklets for SACE/NTCET and International Baccalaureate students. In 2018 copies of these booklets will be available to download, or view online, in PDF format from the SATAC website.

The Tertiary Entrance and International Baccalaureate booklets provide students in South Australia and the Northern Territory in years 10, 11 and 12 with information about undergraduate entry requirements, Universities Bonus Schemes, and various courses offered through SATAC. These include courses from:

  • Charles Darwin University
  • Flinders University
  • University of Adelaide
  • University of South Australia
  • CQUniversity
  • Tabor
  • Torrens University
See our Publications page for more information.

All of the information we publish in the SATAC Guide and Tertiary Entrance booklets is available on our website. Go to the Undergraduate section to Explore courses, Clarify SATAC processes, and Apply for undergraduate study.

The Resources for students section provides students in years 10, 11 and 12 in Australian schools, and their parents or caregivers, with information on undergraduate and TAFE SA entry, the Universities Bonus Schemes, and information for SACE/NTCET students about the university aggregate and ATAR, Recognised Studies and scaling.

Current year 12 students who are completing an Australian year 12 program, or the International Baccalaureate Diploma program, will be able to use the Resources for students section to access information that explains the entry requirements for courses offered through SATAC.

Years 10 and 11 students can also find information about planned changes to tertiary entry in the coming years to help with their year 12 subject choices.

Make sure you keep up-to-date with new information during 2018 and 2019 before you commit yourself to year 12 subject choices for future tertiary entry.

The Resources for schools section provides information and resources to assist schools, teachers and counsellors in planning and coordinating aspects of the SATAC process for their students including information about upcoming changes to SACE/NTCET subjects for tertiary entrance in 2018 and 2019, Recognised Studies, the Universities Bonus Schemes, and Communications SATAC has had with your school.

Access to some parts of this page will require a username and password for entry and access is restricted to personnel authorised by SATAC. Those who are authorised to access the Applicants by School website will be able to log in via the Resources for schools section.
