SATAC is holding regular sittings of the Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) in the Adelaide metro region for applicants applying for summer semester 2015. Sittings in Darwin and Alice Springs will be held on Friday 2 October. This is also the last day to sit the STAT for results to be available in time for summer semester admission.

STAT sittings are also available for applicants applying for courses starting in 2016.

You can choose to sit the STAT when completing your SATAC application, or by logging into My Application if you’ve already applied. Your booking is confirmed once payment for the test has been received by SATAC.

The STAT is a two hour multiple-choice test of aptitude for study at tertiary level. It can be used to compete for entry to most undergraduate courses in South Australia and the Northern Territory. Results can also be used for entry to some TAFE SA courses.

If you’re applying for special entry to Charles Darwin University summer semester courses it’s not compulsory to sit the STAT, you can also choose to compete on other criteria such as a personal competencies statement and employment experience. For more information on special entry to university download the fact sheets from the Undergraduate selection page.

For more information on sitting the STAT, including sitting dates and locations, see the STAT page.
