Key milestones for subject review
The SACE Board has provided SATAC with approximate timelines for key SACE/NTCET subject development activities. The following document provides an outline of these activities.
Newly accredited SACE/NTCET subjects for 2018
The following new or redeveloped subjects have been accredited by the SACE Board and will be implemented in 2018 (for tertiary entry in 2019):
- Ancient Studies
- Modern History
- Earth and Environmental Science
- Agricultural Production
- Agricultural Systems
Precluded combinations and counting restrictions

Subject equivalents for prerequisite subject requirements
The continued rollout of the Australian Curriculum in 2018 requires the implementation of a variety of science subjects. This will affect prerequisite subject requirements for 2019 undergraduate entry.

- 2MEB20 Music Performance: Ensemble
- 2MSI20 Music Studies
- 2MEX20 Music Explorations
- 2DGT20 Digital Technologies
- 2STU20 Scientific Studies

Newly accredited subjects for 2020
The following new or redeveloped subjects have been accredited by the SACE Board and will be implemented in 2020 (for tertiary entry in 2021):
- Business Innovation
- Australian Languages – First Languages
