Yes, if you need to submit supporting documents to SATAC you can upload them online in PDF or JPEG format after you have submitted your application. The online instructions will step you through the process. You can return to your application to add additional documents via My Application.

It is important to give SATAC a complete picture of your academic history, because it may be necessary for the assessment of your application. The entry requirements for postgraduate courses vary from course to course, and the qualifications you claim in your application may be required to assess your eligibility for other courses should you decide to change your preferences.

For example, if you have completed a higher-level award e.g. a postgraduate qualification, and you have also completed an earlier award e.g. a Bachelor degree, you should include both qualifications in your application as SATAC may need to assess both to determine your eligibility for an offer.

Assessment times vary depending on the entry requirements for the course, and your qualifications.

It is not possible for SATAC to give an exact assessment timeframe. If your course makes offers in the weekly offer rounds, and you are not awaiting current year results, you may wish to check the progress of your application after around 4 weeks.

Most postgraduate courses make offers in the weekly offer rounds. Weekly offer rounds begin on Wednesday 23 August 2017 and continue most Wednesdays throughout 2017 and 2018.

Check the course entry details in Explore for information on the timing of offers for specific courses. A list of offer round dates can be found on the key dates page.

No, postgraduate courses are not deferrable through SATAC.

SATAC does not inform applicants if they have not received an offer, as the institutions may make further offers during the admissions cycle.
