2019 and 2020 TAFE SA entry requirements

The TAFE SA Course Admission Requirements (CAR) are reviewed each year but will continue to recognise SACE completion.

2019 and 2020 undergraduate entry requirements

The basic entry requirements for undergraduate courses/programs in 2019 and 2020 are the same as for 2018. You can use the current course search to find information about the prerequisite and assumed knowledge requirements for each course. There will no doubt be changes to the courses/programs available but students can use present courses as a guide to assist them in their SACE/NTCET Stage 2 (year 12) subject choices.

The information below shows changes to the entry requirements for 2019 and 2020. 

The method of calculating the university aggregate and ATAR in 2019 and 2020 will be the same as 
for 2018.

2019 undergraduate entry requirements

The continued rollout of the Australian Curriculum in 2018 requires the implementation of a variety of science subjects. This will affect prerequisite subject requirements for 2019 undergraduate entry.

2020 undergraduate entry requirements

The University of Adelaide is proposing to amend subject prerequisites for all Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) programs for 2020 tertiary entry. More information on these changes will be available by the end of 2017 from the SATAC website and the University’s Degree Finder website.
