Welcome to School Resources, SATAC's online
resource for school counsellors and guidance
teachers. This centralised website aims to
assist schools in facilitating tertiary
education and career events.
School visits by the tertiary institutions
South Australia's three universities and TAFE SA
have a long history of supporting South
Australian schools through the provision of
information about post-secondary education.
Metropolitan School Events
In
2012 there will be three options:
-
A Tertiary Education Panel Presentation (TEPP).
Flinders University and the University of
South Australia will continue to jointly
offer a Tertiary Education Panel
Presentation.
The joint presentation will follow a similar
format to previous years and be of 90
minutes duration covering university options
and pathways, question time and a ‘supermarket’ time where students can ask
questions individually and collect course
material. The presentation will be tailored
for Year 11 and Year 12 students.

An Individual
Institution Presentation. All three
universities and TAFE SA are happy to visit
your school individually to present
information about their institution.
Bookings for customised 45 minute
presentations from Flinders University and
the University of South Australia can be
made through this website. These
presentations are tailored for Year 11 and
Year 12 students.
Requests for University of Adelaide
and TAFE SA visits can be made direct to the
institutions.

Career Event.
In this format, the four SA institutions
will attend your career evening and/or Expo
to make a presentation or simply talk to
students and parents about study and career
options.
The University of
Adelaide and TAFE SA will
participate in Career Events booked through this
website.

Rural Tertiary Tour Program
Flinders University and the University of South
Australia are committed to supporting country
schools through the Rural Tertiary Education
Panel Presentations and Evening Information
Sessions.
Participating schools will be contacted in late
February/early March about the 2012 schedule.
