CREDIT TRANSFER

Studying at TAFE SA can be one of the easiest and most successful pathways towards a university degree. TAFE SA qualifications may be used to meet university entry requirements and/or to gain credit for previous relevant studies. Further information should be obtained during course counselling and information sessions. Evidence of successful completion of SACE units or VET competencies/modules is required at the time of enrolment (ie SACE Record of Achievement and/or academic record/certificate).

RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING (RPL)

TAFE recognises that people learn and develop skills through a variety of experiences, including life experience, work experience (both paid and unpaid), as well as formal and informal training and education. Information about RPL is available at TAFE SA: Recognition of Prior Learning.

Students are encouraged to seek recognition of their prior learning or existing skills by providing evidence of the particular skills and knowledge covered by a competency or module. The granting of RPL will exempt them from repeating work unnecessarily.
