Completed courses at the level of Certificate I to IV, Diploma or above from
TAFE or any Registered Training Organisation (RTO) may be used to either
meet the Minimum Entry Requirements (MER) or increase your
competitiveness for your chosen preferences.
Have you studied at a
TAFE SA campus
during 2011?
If you have not already received a parchment certifying
completion of your award, SATAC can request this evidence from
TAFE SA, provided you do the following:
-
When adding your qualification to your TAFEWeb
application, you need to provide the correct campus
name, your TAFE SA student ID number and indicate that your award
will be complete by 31 December 2011
and
-
Contact the course coordinator at the TAFE SA campus at which you are studying by Friday
2 December 2011 and apply to graduate even if your course finishes after this date
and
-
Ensure that your SATAC application is lodged by the appropriate closing date.
IMPORTANT - if you do not supply the necessary details to SATAC and/or do not apply to TAFE
SA to graduate, SATAC may be unable to obtain the required information
from TAFE SA, which may jeopardise your chances of selection.
Have you studied
anywhere other than TAFE SA
during 2011?
If you are studying at anywhere other than TAFE SA at
the level of Certificate I to IV, Diploma or above, and are due to
complete your course in 2011, you must supply evidence of completion to
SATAC as soon as possible. The evidence could be
a parchment (the certificate given to you at graduation) or a statement of
completion from the awarding registered training organisation. Please note that
documents received after 15 December 2011 cannot be guaranteed
to be considered in the Main January offer round.
SATAC is able to obtain an electronic copy of many university results. However if you studied at an
institution that is not listed
here you must provide
academic transcripts and evidence of completion (if applicable).
