Students enrolled in SACE/NTCET in 2011

You will have access to interstate guides or can arrange to obtain one through your school.

All other applicants from South Australia

Click on the links below for information on how to obtain application materials.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

If you are currently doing year 12 studies anywhere in Australia, you do not have to supply your results as they will be obtained direct from the appropriate authorities when they become available. If you completed your year 12 studies before 2011, read the appropriate application instructions carefully to see if you must provide documentation.

Certification of Documents

Certified photocopies are acceptable. Admissions Centres in New South Wales (UAC), Queensland (QTAC), Victoria (VTAC) and Western Australia (TISC) will accept documents which have been certified as true and correct. SATAC will photocopy original documents, sign and stamp them 'original sighted' on payment of a fee of $4.00 plus $1.00 per page. This service is available only at SATAC's front counter.

ASSESSMENT

South Australian and Northern Territory year 12 applicants are assessed and selected in the same way as local year 12 applicants when they apply interstate - any subject prerequisites must be satisfied and then, for courses where selection is based on academic merit, the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) is used as the basis for selection. To assist in this process, selection authorities use, as a guide, a common index which allows comparisons to be made across all states.

Admissions in each state:

Northern Territory
New South Wales and the ACT
Queensland
Tasmania
Victoria
Western Australia
