To limit the spread of COVID-19 SATAC is making changes to venue-based sittings of the Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT).

Social distancing measures are now in place which limit the number of persons who can gather in indoor spaces. Additionally, people should keep a distance of at least 1.5 meters between themselves and others.

To allow our staff to maintain appropriate social distancing measures, we are unable to hold venue-based sittings of the STAT in May as planned.

The safety and wellbeing of our staff and applicants is our first priority. The situation unfolding in Australia is unprecedented, and SATAC is monitoring it daily. We will provide further updates as new information is available.

Applicants who need to sit the STAT in midyear can book an online sitting through ACER.

For more information see our STAT dates and venues page.
