STAT sitting dates and venues

For details of STAT sittings in South Australia and Northern Territory locations see below. Depending on when you apply you will be given a choice of venues and dates in your SATAC online application.

To sit the STAT Multiple Choice

1. If you intend to submit a SATAC application for an undergraduate course, you will apply for the STAT at the same time as you complete your SATAC application. Follow the instructions on the screen as you apply.
2. If you have already submitted a SATAC application for an undergraduate course and you now wish to apply for a STAT sitting, you can do so online. Log in via My Application, then select ‘Book or change STAT’ from the options provided.
3. If you have already submitted a SATAC application for a higher education course offered by TAFE SA and you now wish to apply for a STAT sitting you should contact SATAC for assistance.

If you are applying for courses outside South Australia and the Northern Territory you should check your eligibility to use the STAT with the institution providing the course, or with the tertiary admissions centre in that state.

The fee for STAT Multiple Choice is $235.00.

To sit the STAT Written English

STAT Written English is not considered for any courses offered through SATAC but may be required by interstate institutions. Bookings can only be made by calling SATAC during business hours and payment by credit card will be required at the time of booking.
